IS Liu Wen the face of Apple Watch?

Weeks ago, Apple caught everybody’s attention with their first wearable gadget – Apple Watch (formerly and unofficially the iWatch) alongside the highly anticipated iPhone 6 & iPhone 6+, and recently rumours are circulating that Chinese model Liu Wen will be the face of the hi-tech watch.

Apple is trying to position Apple Watch both as a must-have gadget and a fashion item. Apart from inviting fashion editors to the press event, they also held a Apple Watch event during Paris Fashion Week at high-end concept store Colette, which Jony Ive, Marc Newson, Anna Wintour, Liu Wen and even Karl Lagerfeld made an appearance. Then Liu Wen posted a photo from the event to instagram with the caption, “My second meeting with the #AppleWatch, this time in @colette! The first time? Well, you’ll see soon…”

The Apple Watch requires being paired with an iPhone to be used and is customizable with several watch faces and leather, metal and plastic bands to choose from.

No exact launch dates have been given but the Apple Watch is expected to become available in early 2015. Will Liu Wen be the face of Apple Watch? Well, we’ll see soon.

Alexander Wang x H&M Ad Campaign is here

The official Alexander Wang x H&M ad campaign is unveiled.

Photographed by Mikael Jansso, the campaign features super models Joan Smalls, Raquel Zimmermann, Isabeli Fontana and Natasha Poly, as well as actual professional athletes, English soccer player Andy Carroll, and kickboxer Rivaldino dos Santos.

According to WWD, the campaign will be accompanied by a TV commercial and an online-only short film.

Alexander Wang x H&M collection will be available from November 6, 2014.

Uniqlo to reissue Jil Sander collaboration?

Arizona Muse in final +J collection for Uniqlo FW 2011

3 years after the “final” collection of +J, Uniqlo will relaunch some of the +J collections in September 2014. Pieces reissued will include the signature down jackets and parkas, the classic men’s button-down shirt and wool items including jumpers and outerwear. So if you’ve missed it last time it’ll be your second chance.

The collection will go on sale at 9am online.

Alexander Wang, creative director of Balenciaga will be the next designer to create a collection for H&M, which will include men’s and women’s clothing, as well as his famed accessories.

Felissimo「Tribute 21」慈善襟章Tote Bag Box Set

日本加油！「Tribute-21」慈善企劃

日本3.11海嘯大地震發生至今已接近半年，但全球為日本災民發起的慈善活動卻從未間斷，來自日本的郵購公司 Felissimo 特別選出21個曾經被製作成「Tribute 21彩碟」的設計，變成為日本災民打氣的愛心襟章，並連同Message Tote Bag以2,800日元發售，部份收益將透過「長腿叔叔育英會」捐贈予東日本大地震中喪失父母的孤兒。

21個設計者當中包括Issey Miyake、荒木經惟、安藤忠雄、茱莉亞羅拔絲(Julia Roberts)及著名漫畫「麵包超人」的創作人柳瀬嵩先生等。著名插畫家黑田征太郎亦設計了一款印有「日本加油！」字句以及傳遞相親相愛訊息的「親子鳥」的插畫手帕，希望透過窩心的設計凝聚各人的力量，呼籲大家應不分國界，互相守望相助，同心支持日本災民。

關於 TRIBUTE 21

Tribute 21彩碟是 Felissimo 與聯合國教科文組織（UNESCO）合作的社會項目。從1996年開始每年都會邀請活躍在各個界別的名人，讓他們提供設計和創意，表達對孩子們的愛心。當中的創作被製作成彩碟後，從銷售額中捐出一部分作為基金，通過聯合國教科文組織，用於支援世界各地兒童的教育、文化、運動等事業。
