Weeks ago, Apple caught everybody’s attention with their first wearable gadget – Apple Watch (formerly and unofficially the iWatch) alongside the highly anticipated iPhone 6 & iPhone 6+, and recently rumours are circulating that Chinese model Liu Wen will be the face of the hi-tech watch.

Apple is trying to position Apple Watch both as a must-have gadget and a fashion item. Apart from inviting fashion editors to the press event, they also held a Apple Watch event during Paris Fashion Week at high-end concept store Colette, which Jony Ive, Marc Newson, Anna Wintour, Liu Wen and even Karl Lagerfeld made an appearance. Then Liu Wen posted a photo from the event to instagram with the caption, “My second meeting with the #AppleWatch, this time in @colette! The first time? Well, you’ll see soon…”

The Apple Watch requires being paired with an iPhone to be used and is customizable with several watch faces and leather, metal and plastic bands to choose from.

No exact launch dates have been given but the Apple Watch is expected to become available in early 2015. Will Liu Wen be the face of Apple Watch? Well, we’ll see soon.

Photographed by Mikael Jansso, the campaign features super models Joan Smalls, Raquel Zimmermann, Isabeli Fontana and Natasha Poly, as well as actual professional athletes, English soccer player Andy Carroll, and kickboxer Rivaldino dos Santos.

According to WWD, the campaign will be accompanied by a TV commercial and an online-only short film.

Alexander Wang x H&M collection will be available from November 6, 2014.

Alexander Wang, creative director of Balenciaga will be the next designer to create a collection for H&M, which will include men’s and women’s clothing, as well as his famed accessories.

Got the chance to interview Patricia Field, one of my favorite stylist~ here she talks about the changing face of retail and the differences between managing a physical store versus online shop.

你知道的Patricia Field，是《色慾都市》（Sex and the City）的時裝顧問，也是荷里活最具影響力的造型師之一。為電影角色設計造型以外，Patricia早於於六十年代已開始於美國經營時裝店，近年她更轉戰網上開設其online shop。從事相關工作近四十年，Patricia可謂看透市場變化。

回顧十年，Patricia認為時裝業最大的改變，就是時裝潮流的普及化。《穿Prada的惡魔》中的Miranda說，名設計師於天橋上的一抹蔚藍，會逐漸影響其他designer的設計，再滲透到普羅大眾的百貨商店。互聯網則將這個過程大大縮短，當模特兒一踏上紐約倫敦巴黎米蘭fashion week的時尚天橋，照片已光速傳送到地球另一邊的網民家中，普羅大眾更易掌握當季的潮流脈搏，刺激消費欲望亦想盡快得到流行衣飾，繼而造就H&M、Zara等fast fashion的流行。

既開設有時裝店，亦有網上店，兩者對Patricia來說最大的分別，就是「接觸」。

Patricia不喜歡稱呼她店中的職員為sales，他們是stylist，因為每個職員接觸過客人後都會度身為對方設計適當的打扮，提供最貼心的意見。而網上商店，雖然不能「認識」每個客人，但接觸層面卻更大更深。客人不用親身飛往紐約，亦能買到Patricia的選擇，包括她與已故設計師好友Keith Haring合作設計的飾物。「我與Keith 合作，設計了一整個系列，以往客人只能在我美國的店找到，但現在他們隨時隨地都可以買到。」

網上商機無限，亦為Patricia提供了更多空間，可以放更多不同類型的貨品，以往受店鋪空間所限而未能拿出來賣的，現在通通可以放上網——不單是賣，Patricia也喜歡買，最近為電影工作時，她亦會到其他網上商店，看看有沒有適合電影角色的衣飾。

談到網上平台，不得不提近年bloggers進駐時裝週front row與資深編輯平起平坐，令不少傳統媒體不以為然，但Patricia反而覺得有正面作用。「bloggers代表的就是commentary，他們是獨立的個禮，意見、眼光不會受到商業機構制肘，反而有助時裝業的生態環境百花齊放。」除了經營個人網店、網誌之外，Patricia亦不斷嘗試其他可能，像video，digital illustration等。本身精通時裝，但對網上營運卻是初哥，所以Patricia一早已請了專業的網上人才，為她打理不同的social platforms，像facebook、my space、twitter、Instagram 甚至個人的Youtube頻道，她全部都有，每秒每分向全世界推介她的心水選擇。
